We will also discuss styling, lighting preferences, and any special requests to ensure the final images align perfectly with your expectations. Based on this discussion, we will provide a detailed brief for the photoshoot, outlining our approach and plan to best showcase your space. This ensures that we are fully aligned on the vision and sets clear expectations for the shoot.
Once the brief is agreed upon, we will provide a services agreement outlining the details of the shoot, including the desired shoot configuration, scope of work, pricing, and any additional terms. This agreement ensures both parties are aligned on expectations and deliverables. If applicable, we can also set up a yearly agreement, locking in a standard shoot pricing for future work, offering consistency and convenience for ongoing projects.
As the photographer, we retain ownership of all images captured during the shoot. However, in line with our services agreement, we grant our clients perpetual, royalty-free rights to use these images for marketing, promotional, and commercial purposes. These rights are granted at no additional cost, allowing our clients to utilize the images across various platforms, including websites, social media, and print materials, for as long as they desire. This arrangement ensures that our clients can leverage the high-quality images for their ongoing marketing efforts without any further licensing fees or restrictions.
Contained within our services agreement is a standard property release. If the property release has not already been obtained prior to the shoot, we will arrange for the client to sign it on your behalf. A property release is crucial because it grants us the legal permission to photograph and use images of the property for the intended purposes, whether for marketing, portfolio, or commercial use. Without this signed release, there could be restrictions on how the images are used, ensuring both the property owner and photographer are protected legally and that the images can be freely used for their intended purposes.
We will arrange a convenient time for the photography session, ensuring minimal disruption to your schedule. If required, we can project manage the shoot by collaborating closely with you, the stylist, and any other relevant professionals to ensure every detail is perfectly prepared. This includes coordinating furniture placement, optimizing lighting conditions, and finalizing any staging elements to achieve the best visual presentation. Our goal is to create a seamless and efficient process that results in high-quality, polished images that truly showcase your space.
On the day of the session, we arrive on-site at the prearranged time and coordinate with the client to ensure everything is in order. If a property release has not been obtained prior to the shoot, we will secure the client’s signature at this stage. We will then collaborate with the stylist, if engaged, to ensure the space is styled to meet the project’s vision. Following this, we proceed with the photography session, capturing the images as discussed. If a video is required, we will set up the necessary equipment and capture the footage as per the agreed-upon requirements. The entire process typically takes around 4 hours on-site, ensuring thorough attention to detail and the successful completion of the session.
Once the shoot is complete, we begin the post-processing phase. This includes reviewing all the images and performing necessary adjustments for color correction, clarity, and alignment, in line with the terms outlined in the services agreement. We aim to ensure the final images are of the highest quality, accurately representing the space. Within 7 working days, we will provide access to our server where you can review the thumbnails for approval. Once you approve the images, we will grant you access to the full high-resolution files for download..
